When deciding who deserves Cigar of the Year we examine a few basic aspects of the cigar. The most important being the taste of the cigar. The taste of the cigar is key in determining your mood during your smoke, the better the taste, the better the mood. Another aspect we examine is the draw, which is also very important. A bad draw is annoying and stressful. It's a sign of careless rolling. A good, even draw shows the amount of passion and care put into rolling the cigar which makes the experience more exquisite. The final aspect is the label. A fine cigar is a work of art and the label should be also.
After reading our guidelines for choosing the Cigar of the Year, we are pleased to announce that the winner is the Padron 1964 Anniversary Series! This fine cigar rolled in Nicaragua has phenomenal taste and shape. This box pressed beauty is worth every penny. A must-smoke.
